Project | Environmental, Social and Technical Assessment for EBRD and EIB of the Corridor VIII Railway – section 3 Kriva Palanka-Border with the Republic of Bulgaria

Services: Technical assistance to the Infrastructure Manager (PERI) for signalling/interlocking and telecommunication devices

The objective of the assignment was to provide expert support to the Infrastructure Manager for railway signalling and telecommunication devices. The main activities performed during the period were the following:

• Provide expertise in the existing designs for signalling and telecommunications devices on LOT 1 - railway section Kumanovo-Beljakovce (checking of technical requirements and Bills of Quantities, compliance between BoQ and drawings etc);
• Provide technical opinions about the proposed technical solutions and requests for additional works (variatins) from the current Contractor on LOT 1 (ISKRA);
• Preparation of the technical specifications for procurement of the works for LOT 2 – railway section Beljakovce – Kriva Palanka;
• Provide technical support in communication and decision-making with the Notified Body (NoBo).
